Natasha McCants, is a veteran Educator and 2016 Teacher of the Year Nominee, with 15 years of experience in public school education. Natasha, having received her formal education from Georgia State University, with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Georgia teaching certificate in Special Education, Early Childhood Education and Reading, has taught grades K-8th, served as a Reading Specialist, Special & General Education Teacher, and Early Intervention Teacher. Natasha is trained in the Orton-Gillingham methodology which she uses as the primary method of teaching phonics. Natasha believes all children have the ability to learn and that true education entails educating the whole child.
Elite Kids' daily operations are managed by our onsite director, Natasha. She holds dual roles as executive director and teacher. Our class is open to all students, including students with learning disabilities, ADD, ADHD, Specific Learning Disabilities, & Dyslexia. Natasha has enjoyed her time within the public school setting but takes prides in running her own school and implementing her wealth of knowledge to empower youth.
Natasha enjoys being a mom to 5 year old Khloe and 6 month old Korie, and a dedicated wife to Kevin. Being a mom and a wife to these three, is one of her greatest accomplishments. She does not take for granted the love and support that her family has given her, and gives all the honor to God for allowing her to be a part of their lives. In her down time, she enjoys spending quality time with her family, traveling, and researching new innovative strategies to teach her students. Natasha adores her students and wants them to excel to be the very best that they can be.
